“We had an extension, garden room and new kitchen built by John and his team. Not an easy job, as it involved widening openings, and building in a garden with little access to the front of the house for machinery, so everything had to be dug by hand, carried in and out by wheelbarrow etc.
We were very glad to be able to put everything in John’s hands. He dealt with window and door manufacturers and the kitchen and tile suppliers, and efficiently brought in tilers, plasterers and so on as and when required. He took a great design but tweaked it to be as effective and practical as possible and also always took into account the aesthetic effect. He dealt with the big items (the build) all the way to tiny details (outside lights and taps, shelves and so on). The work was finished to a very high standard – a great job, done with the minimum of fuss and mess. John even set one of us up temporary kitchen accommodation during the works, while the other spent the time abroad, watching progress by Skype! ”
